Přítomnost

Přítomnost (Presence) is a Czech contemporary music association that was founded in 1924.

As was the case at the time of its formation, the association remains today a collection of musical composers, performers, musicologists, and friends of the musical arts.

The main activities of Přítomnost involve organizing concerts and promoting contemporary music. The programs of these concerts focus not only on the new works of association members but also on contemporary world music.
For this purpose Přítomnost annually hosts a series of eleven chamber concerts of mainly top young musicians in Prague concert halls.
